Family History:
CAMS presents quarterly Family History talks free of charge to the public. These talks, which take place in the Lions Den (2 doors down from the museum), give genealogy enthusiasts an understanding of some of the characters who made Comox what it is today as well as tips on how to conduct their own family research.
Many of these talks were done as PowerPoint presentations or were video-taped which are available for viewing at the museum.
Recent History Talks:
- Mystery Man of Comox by Pam Moughton – Dusty d’Esterre
- The Petter Family and the Fort - Pam Moughton
- J.B. Holmes - Pam Moughton
- The Chaworth Musters of Comox - Karen McCoy
- Comox Valley History - Ron Bannerman
- Wills of England and Wales Online - Sherry Irvine

The history talks are a great way to learn about past and present, from who we see today to those who have built our past. Good community and fun atmosphere full of learning.
