Visit the Comox Archives and Museum and learn more about the history of Comox and the region.

OPEN 10am-4pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Current Exhibit:

80 Years Ago: A Comox Time Capsule, shares a snapshot of life in 1945–46 through photos, newspaper excerpts, and local stories. This display highlights a pivotal time in Comox — where the community rallied together after the war, pushed for incorporation, and even endured the island-shaking 1946 earthquake. The exhibit celebrates the people whose determination and community spirit helped shape today’s Comox.

The Museum’s exhibit opened in January 2026 to kick-off the celebrations for the Town’s 80th anniversary.

The Comox Archives and Museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10AM to 4PM.

The museum displays showcase the early development and history of the region. There is also a temporary exhibit area that features current community research and engagement initiatives.
